About the Business
With a Business Studies degree from Oxford Brookes University, and a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Rob Baldry has a broad experience in the hotel, leisure and hospitality sector. Starting his career in the retail travel sector, he then had 4 years in visitor attractions, at LEGOLAND Windsor, where he was involved in the build and launch programme of the new theme park.
Rob then moved into the hotel sector, as a Marketing Manager at Regal Hotels, a UK PLC with 115 hotels nationwide. There he was responsible for managing the short breaks programme and all leisure marketing activities, a sector worth about £15m to the group. Rob was soon promoted to the role of Head of Marketing, where he initiated the groups first foray into the world of e-commerce, a distribution channel which grew from £12,000 revenue in year one to over £2m revenue within 5 years.
